At the Be Seen Art Center, we believe that every person, regardless of their physical abilities, is an inspirational artist! We are committed to helping individuals with special needs express their thoughts and stories through artistic creation, reducing their anxiety and unease through the creative process. Through a series of guidance and training sessions, we teach them skills and assist them in creating products that can be sold in the market through our marketing efforts. We hope that people around the world can see the colorful and rich emotional world of individuals with special needs through these artworks! By establishing an art vocational training center, we aim to help these individuals tell their stories through handicrafts, leveraging our passion, professional knowledge, experience, and market sensitivity. In our center, every handmade craft is inspired by our students' perceptions, or the world seen through their eyes, entirely crafted by themselves. Each product is unique and irreplaceable. Through this series of vocational training, we hope to help our students find the meaning and personal achievement of their lives. It’s our goal to help them establish and develop their lifelong careers!

We currently offer three programs that serve students with different needs and abilities.

Foundation class : ART EXPLORATION Program

If your student is new to art or hasn't attended any art classes before, there's no need to worry! We now offer an art exploration training program designed to help students delve into their understanding of colors, spatial concepts, 2D/3D environments, and motor skills necessary for advancement to our vocational training program. In this class, students will receive instruction in basic painting, cutting, sewing, beading, gluing, and fastening using a variety of materials such as paper, canvas, clothing, plastic, polyester, and more. We take pride in developing a series of training plans and training tools and materials to help our students master these skills gradually, allowing them to build upon their abilities step by step.

Days/time : Mon. - Fri.

Class: 60 minutes (ongoing class)

Class size: 6 students and 2 teachers per class (teacher/student ratio : 1:3)

Product design class : VOCATIONAL TRAINING program

In this program, our students will discover how to create a product from the ground up. Beginning with thorough training using materials crafted by Be Seen Art Center, they will progressively master these skills. Once proficient, students will be encouraged to conceptualize ideas, translate them into sketches or paintings, and ultimately complete their marketable products. Throughout the process, students will be introduced to and inspired by high-end, marketable products, empowering them to develop their own unique creations. Their final pieces may be showcased on the Be Seen Art Center website, at Farmer’s Markets, Art Fairs, and even Local Art Galleries.*

This program is only for students who have taken Be Seen foundation classes or finish our evaluation process. Please contact us for more information.

Advanced Design class : I AM WHO I AM

At our center, each handmade craft is a reflection of our students' unique perspectives and the world as they see it, entirely crafted by their own hands. In this program, students have the chance to experiment with various media and work with a diverse range of materials. The use of different craft materials can spark inspiration for innovative projects that may not have been seen before. Their finished creations can be showcased and sold on the Be Seen Art Center website, at Farmer's Markets, Art Fair, and even Local Art Galleries.*

Why BE SEEN art center?

Our center offers various art tools and teaches techniques, making art experience or talent unnecessary! Classes operate from Monday to Thursday, in class, students engage with their peers, learning about colors and developing skills to create art products. During weekend sales outings at farmer’s markets, art shows, and exhibitions, students participate in community engagement activities. Each student is introduced as an artist and encouraged to interact with community members. Our aim is to facilitate our students' enjoyment of interaction and involvement within our community, while also showcasing their inner beauty to the wider community.

Every student is encouraged to progress at their own pace. We strongly believe that it is solely within a secure and relaxed environment that our students can genuinely unlock their potential.
